Synopsis
타인의 눈으로 나를 조각한다!
이력서를 내고 회사에 면접을 보러 다니는 20대 중반의 여주인공. 여느 때와 다름없이 회사의 면접을 마치고 힘없이 집으로 돌아가는 길. 서울 거리 곳곳에는 빼곡히 들어선 성형외과가 보이고, 잘생기고 예쁜 사람들이 그녀를 스쳐 지나간다. 집으로 돌아온 주인공은 다시 힘을 내어 이력서를 쓰기 시작하고, 책상 위 뒤섞여있던 이력서들 사이로 성형외과 전단지를 발견한다. 그녀는 전단지 속 성형 전 못생긴 여성과 성형 후 아름다워진 여성의 사진을 바라보며 자신의 현재와 미래의 모습을 보는 것만 같은 공상 속에 빠져든다. 자신의 쟂빛 인생을 장밋빛 인생으로 변화시킬 수 있는 유일한 방법은 성형 수술뿐이라고 생각한다. 주인공은 밝은 미래를 위해 자신의 육체와 영혼을 의사에게 내맡긴채 위험한 도박을 하는데...
We sculpt ourselves based on other people's opinions. The heroine, who is in her mid-twenties, is job hunting. She is on her way home after another tiring interview. There are lots of plastic surgery centers along the streets of Seoul, and many attractive men and women pass her by. Back home, she begins to write her resume again. All of sudden, out of the stack of resumes, an advertisement for plastic surgery catches her eye. While looking at the before and after photos of a woman who had plastic surgery, she pictures herself now and fantasizes about how bright her future would be. She decides that the key to changing her life for the better is to get plastic surgery. She builds up her courage and lies down on the operating table, looking forward to her bright future...
